Financial Literacy Project

Financial Literacy in today's world is an extremely important topic and should be provided to everybody. Having basic knowledge in finance can help one make much better financial decisions in the future.

Financial Literacy does not only include knowledge about the stock market or investments but also includes basic knowledge about how our government works and how it deals with money circulation. It also helps us get better insight into what the role of the government and banks is in the economy of a country other than the people of the country.

It also helps us get a better understanding of the way the budget of the country is decided and why each sector gets the dedicated amount. It also helps us understand the laws for the taxpayers and what contribution the taxpayers make to the economy.

Thus we started our own project where we helped underprivileged students get a better understanding of their own government and how and why there are various money laws in our country. We also helped them with understanding how investments play a crucial role in making money and how it is extremely important in knowing how much money should be invested and which is the best market to invest in.
